Red Sea Sound Project
Online Library of created soundtracks across the globe
in response to Covid 19
The Red Sea Sound project is an initiative produced and created in response to Covid 2020. It is a creative participatory response that sheds lights on our environment and our relation with nature.
Created from the urgency to not go back to the so-called 'normal'.
The project culminates in an online library of created sountracks across the globe.
Vivi invited musicians, sound composers, vocalists to go near their closest water location, listen to a pre-recorded meditation she created. The musicians then responded by creating a 1min30 sec sound piece of how it felt to be near those waters.
This project is ongoing until all confinements/lockdowns have been lifted across countries.
Vivi is currently working on creating an interactive map.
So far 17 musicians have contributed with amazingly well cared beautiful sound pieces.
